Be at WAIS no later than 3:10 PM. Meeting at 3:15 followed by warm-ups.

JV WILL PRACTICE with informal scrimmage on baseball field from 2:45-3:45 PM. You must be there – if not it is an unexcused absence.

All players will wear their 3rd kit black jerseys tomorrow. I will bring jerseys that players have not gotten to school and you may grab yours in the AM before school starts.

A few games have been moved to make room for XC and for homecoming!

9/22 Game against Lehighton moved to Monday 9/21

10/2 Game @ Palisades moved to Thursday October 1.

We will be practicing at the intermediate school today due to the lights on the Chrinergy field. The bus from the high school will depart at 2:30 from in front of gym. We will practice on the baseball field. Practice will start a little later – around 2:50 and we will run till 4:15-4:30.

Maybe you feel that we have overlooked what YOU can bring to the team. Maybe you feel you can help the team if you were just given a chance to start. Fill out the form.

2:45 – 4:15 PM

Instead of the film session tonight, due the following on your own:

1. Watch the first 1.5 minutes of the highlights below https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f7Tv5u_pXD0
2. Look for how they are beating the opposition – dribbles? Passing it to the “right guy” or passing it to the “open guy”. Did you see Mbappe one timing it to their part time full back for the goal? The more we play as a team – the better we will be.
3. Watch the Hudl video – do you see times we could have moved the ball quicker instead of dribble? Been more intentional about scoring? Also look for positioning, how is the rotation, could it have been faster? Did we provide cover when others joined the attack? Shoot me an email with your comments.

Also, JV practice for tomorrow is ON YOUR OWN. Here is what to do:

1. Watch a soccer game and email coach carmona which one you watched (acarmona@wilsonareasd.org) and which positions you watched in particular.
2. Go for a 1 mile run, track your time with an app, take a pic and send to coach carmona
3. Ball and a wall for 20 minutes both feet working on touch.

If you are a parent/guardian of a senior, please check attached folder in the email (you may need to request viewing permission) and confirm the proofs look good to you. Thank you!

Thank you to our AD who got a HUDL camera and got it going for our Bangor game. Players, before tonight, set-up your account using the link I will post in our google classroom.

FILM SUNDAY NIGHT AT 9:00 PM – VERY IMPORTANT EVERYONE IS THERE – Including all JV players. IF YOU CAN’T LET ME KNOW. We will use the google meet link.

We played some good soccer today and deserved at least a tie but some headaches remain (which will be discussed on film night) Great goal Braden – you pulled us from peril and you are a hero tonight and I toast you. Now, it remains to be said to every man who lunged for one more loose ball, ran to get back and cover and every quick pass and opportunity and hard tackle – you are heroes too and I see you. Anderson and Owen and Nolan and Ben – good minutes. Connor Noah and Kaarsen solid. Dillard was swarmed all night and still sent in some good balls and was tireless. Hetrick had a good chance and keerat and harnit did their usual good and steven was motor steven – But Braden again- chapeau!

BE AT THE GOOGLE MEET – it will determine who we are from here on out and where you will go this season.
