I have asked Coach Carmona to do his best to analyze our opponent and he did an awesome job, including finding the full game from last year. Do your HW folks and study the following:

1. Lost 3 of 4 top scorers and their GK.

2. They are scrappy and look to get looks on goal after dumping long balls in. Danny did a good job last year clearing those right away and we need to not play with it back there.

3. They weren’t crazy about possession so whether in mid-block or press, look for balls over. Our keeper must be aware and be high in your box aware of counter!

4. New GK so test him by getting shots on frame

5. #3 is quick and moves around (central and wide) – back line MUST communicate but stay compact – dont just follow him if he goes to the touchline

6. #8 good playmaker – shut him down and give no time on the ball

7. #36 is target man in box so we must be careful on set pieces (preferably not give them)

This is a team that has pride in their soccer and will look to retool for this season. Respect your opponent but we are the predator and they are the prey. We are going to attack them! GO WARRIORS!!!!! Comment here or on email you know the plan.
