Great Second Day of Workouts – Growth Mindset
It was some rondos to light the fuse and I enjoyed working in my group with Steven, Rocco, Jayden, Adam, Tyam, Roberto and some others. It was great to have both Coach Carmona and Coach Calderon out too and they are already commenting on things they like and areas to build up. I love the turnout and only want to see it increase.
We heard from Steve, Noah, and Rocco as they highlighted some things they liked.
I wrapped up by discussing the importance of a growth mindset – to always want to be better than you were the day before. Fitter, stronger, healthier, more positive, better teammate, better coach, better mentor, better everything. That’s how you win.

Should be gorgeous weather for soccer. Bring a friend that may want to play in the fall. If you aren’t playing a spring sport or sick with the bird flu, get out and join us!

Spring Sports Update
Soccer Warriors are active in the spring!
Good luck to our track athletes (Gigi, Justin, Walsh, Smith, and more) – also to our alums Isaiah and Jamal among others.
We have a bunch playing America’s past-time as well (Benevides, Bleice, Miller, Walsh and more).
My goal will be to get to at least one meet/game and I might bring signs!

Due to the fire at Dixie, the fieldhouse is closed today 3/14.
First Step of the Journey
The new season began today with a nice small field game, the score between the trash cans kind of game good for getting to know each other. We go again next Thursday 3/21 at same time and place!

Training Tomorrow will be at Intermediate School (2:45-3:45 PM) If we are not on the regular practice field, we will be down at the field hockey field.
Of course anyone who has spring sports will not be there and this is short notice but come out if you can! The weather is too nice to stay inside.
